§ Mr. JuddThe lease of the London property occupied jointly by the EEC Commission and the European Parliament Information Office was acquired on the open market by the European Coal and Steel Community in 1957. Commission offices in Edinburgh and Cardiff are rented. The rents paid are a matter for negotiation with the owners of the properties. The Joint European Torus project will be established at Culham on land provided by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority.
