§ Mr. JohnWe hope to publish shortly draft European Assembly elections regulations, which will provide for various aspects of the conduct of these elections including the candidate's deposit. These regulations, revised as necessary in the light of consultation with the political parties and others, should be laid before Parliament for approval later in the year.
