HC Deb 01 August 1978 vol 955 cc276-80W
Mr. Pavitt

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the capital projects for start in 1978–79 or subsequently that are being partly or wholly funded by joint finance, by reference to the client group to be served, the type of scheme, the local authority in whose area they are sited, and their approximate cost; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Moyle

Capital projects reported by local authorities for start in 1978–79 or subsequently to be partly or wholly funded by joint finance are set out below. In 1978–79 health authorities in England have been allocated £34½ million for joint finance, including an addition of £2 million arising from the Budget and intended specifically to aid inner cities. £37 million for 1979–80 and £43 million for each of the following two years were included in the resource assumptions notified to health authorities.
