§ Mr. WellbelovedThe United States Air Force is here with the full consent of Her Majesty's Government, in consequence of the joint determination of our two countries to maintain the strength and deterrent value of the North Atlantic Alliance, under the general provisions of the North Atlantic Treaty and the agreement regarding the status of forces of parties to the North Atlantic Treaty. Both were published as Command Papers and are therefore held in the Library of the House.
