asked the Secretary of State for Transport why it has been decided to postpone the widening of the M1 north of Berrygrove in Watford until 1981 to 1983.

In deciding on the timing of this proposed scheme, we must have regard to its relationship with the associated Micklefield Green-South Mimms section of the M25, which will have an interchange with this length of the M1.
