§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Commission, which started work in July 1976, is still receiving evidence, both written and oral. It is not yet possible to say when it will report. The Commission's Report on Progress, presented to Parliament as Cmnd. 6770 in April 1977, explained in paragraph 8.3 that it had no present intention of issuing interim reports.
