§ Mr. Terry Walkerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will have talks with the Avon 299W Education Authority to inquire about the fact that a decision has still not been taken regarding the future of education for 16–19-year-olds' education in the Kingswood constituency.
§ Mr. OakesMy right hon. Friend has no plans to do so. I understand that local consultations have been completed and that recommendations on 16–19 provision in the Kingswood area will be considered by the authority's education committee on 23rd May.
