§ Mr. Gouldasked the Secretary of State for the Environment on how many occasions have objections to compulsory purchase orders under the Community Land Act been disregarded to the extent that 169W they related to the ground that the proposed acquisition was unnecessary or inexpedient; on how many occasions he has dispensed with a public local inquiry when confirming a compulsory purchase order under the Act; and for what reason.
§ Mr. FreesonThere have been no occasions on which such objections have been disregarded.
