§ 27. Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what arrangements he is making to establish an independent Arts Council for Scotland after devolution.
§ Mr. MillanThe Government have invited the Arts Council of Great Britain to consider in consultation with the Scottish and Welsh Arts Councils what changes would be desirable in the administration of the arts following devolution. Decisions on the arrangements for supporting the arts in Scotland will, of course, rest ultimately with the devolved administration.
