§ Sir T. Kitsonasked the Secretary of State for Defence on what date he intends to publish the recommendations of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body; and whether any increases will be back-dated to 1st April 1978.
§ Mr. MulleyIn accordance with the usual practice, I expect the report of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body to be published simultaneously with the announcement of the Government's decision on its recommendations. As consideration of the report is still continuing I cannot give a specific date. The award will be announced as soon as possible and will be effective from 1st April 1978.
