§ Mr. Stoddartasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state the total 579W child tax allowances which would be received for the current tax year in respect of two children, one aged 11 years and one aged under eleven years, assuming that child tax allowances had been increased since March 1976 by the same percentage as the single persons tax allowance and the child benefit scheme had not been introduced.
