§ Mr. LuardYes. An understanding for the mutual waiver of the visa requirement, which was concluded on 11th March, entered into force on 10th April 1978. United Kingdom passport holders who have the right of abode in this country and whose passports are so endorsed may now enter the United Arab Emirates for short visits without the necessity to obtain a visa in advance.
