HC Deb 11 April 1978 vol 947 c343W
Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how many times prison visitors at Cardiff Prison visited the prison without prior warning in the last year;

(2) if he will list those occasions on which individual prison visitors have visited Cardiff Prison in the last six months.

Mr. Merlyn Rees

Prison visitors, whose befriending duties require regular attendance, receive passes on appointment, and need not give prior warning of their visits. Twelve visitors at Cardiff attended on a total of 157 occasions in the last six months.
