Mr. Lawson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, further to the Written Answer to the hon. Member for Blaby on 21st March, Official Report columns 520–1, if he will publish similar tables of net income and take-home pay (a) for a married man on average earnings with no children and (b) for a single man on average earnings with no children.

Since family allowance and child benefit are not receivable, net income and take-home pay are the same.
