asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many housing improvement grants were allocated in the Waveney district in each of the last ten years.

Mr. Armstrong

Assistance towards the conversion or improvement of 29 council owned and 259 privately owned dwellings was approved in the Waveney District Council area during 1977. Corresponding figures for earlier years appear in local housing statistics issues 10, 14, 18, 22, 25, 29, 33, 37 and 41, copies of which are available in the Library.
