§ Mr. Harry EwingAt 28th February 1978, 726 patients were on waiting lists for admission to hospitals in the North Ayrshire Health District and the Island of Bute—643 for Kilmarnock Infirmary and 83 for the Victoria Hospital, Rothesay. The number who had been waiting for more than one year is not known.
