§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will hold an investigation into the reason tax inspectors in many cases have not granted a tax allowance on the full current allowance agreed with the unions; and if he will instruct inspectors to check all allowances forthwith and grant the correct relief, and also to make, retrospectively, the proper allowance for the past six years.
