§ Mr. Eyreasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what steps he will take to improve the administrative arrangements of the Housing Corporation to reduce delays in the conversion and improvement programmes of housing associations in Birmingham.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Housing Corporation is introducing a streamlined procedure for the acquisition and rehabilitation of existing properties. The regional office of the corporation is hoping shortly to enter into agreements with a number of housing associations operating in the Birmingham area which will bring this procedure into operation.
