How many census searches have been carried out for the public by the Office of Population Census and Surveys on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses, respectively, from 1st January 1976 until the discontinuation of this service.

The numbers of census searches carried out for the public by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys on the 1881, 1891, and 1901 censuses, from 1st January 1976 to 28th February 1978, when the service was discontinued owing to staff shortages, were as follows:

A further 201 applications have been received since the service was discontinued: 75 for the 1881 Census, 66 for the 1891 Census and 60 for the 1901 Census.
