HC Deb 06 April 1978 vol 947 cc193-4W
Mr. Trotter

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will give examples of the reductions in units and establishments which will lead to a further cut of 3,200 in the strength of the Army and to which he replied in his reply to the hon. Member for Tynemouth of 27th February.

Mr. Robert C. Brown

As I have explained previously, the Army's restructuring plan involves changes in the size and organisation of practically every formation, unit and establishment in the Service. Restructuring is now in its final stages and the reductions referred to are being implemented in those units and establishments not previously affected. It is not the practice to give details of individual unit strengths.
