§ Mr. Watkinsonasked the Minister of Overseas Development what contributions have been made to the World Food Programme in each of the last five years.
§ Mrs. HartBritain Contributes directly to the World Food Programme through its biennial pledges committeed in the form of commodities and cash.
In addition, 30 per Cent. to 40 per cent. of British bilateral action in cereals`food aid under the Food Aid Convention is channelled through the World Food Programme. The Government also pay their full share of cereals and dairy products aid given to the programme by the European Economic Community.
