§ Mr. Mike Thomasasked the Lord President of the Council, in respect of each of the buildings listed in his reply to the hon. Member for Newcastle upon Tyne East, how many Members are accommodated in rooms containing one, two, three, four, five and six or more Members, respectively; and of the Members in single rooms, how many hold Government office, are Front Bench spokesmen of the official Opposition or are chairmen of Select Committees of the House, respectively.
§ Mr. FootI do not think it would be appropriate for the proceedings of Select Committees to be televised unless the House itself had decided in favour of the televising of parliamentary proceedings in general.
