HC Deb 26 October 1977 vol 936 cc795-6W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether, in view of the new information, claims and counterclaims which have been published since he decided not to have an investigation into affairs affecting Reed International and payments to Lord Ryder, he will now exercise his powers under the Companies Act to have an investigation.

Mr. Clinton Davis:

I am not aware of any additional information which would cause me to change the view I expressed in the answer to my hon. Friend on 28th July. However, if my hon. Friend will give me details of any information that he may have, I will consider it.
