HC Deb 26 October 1977 vol 936 c768W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish a table showing the electorate, the number of Members of Parliament and the average electorate per Member of Parliament for Wales and Scotland, Northern Ireland and each of the regions of England.

Mr. John:

The information is as follows:

of the making of an exclusion order has been served on 98 people, 91 of whom have been removed, 67 to Northern Ireland and 24 to the Irish Republic. Twenty of the 98 made representations objecting to the order. My predecessor revoked the order in five of these cases and I in one of them.
