§ Mr. Les Huckfield:A preparatory meeting on manganese, at which the United Kingdom was represented, was held at Geneva in June within the framework of the Integrated Programme for Commodities of the UNCTAD. No proposals for a commodity agreement were put forward. A decision on whether a second meeting should be held has been deferred by the UNCTAD Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Committee for the Integrated Programme for Commodities until December.
