HC Deb 26 October 1977 vol 936 c711W
Mr. Hooley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will initiate discussions with the Football Association about the admission of handicapped persons needing wheelchairs to club grounds.

Mr. Alfred Morris:

My Department has recently held discussions with the Secretaries of the Football Association and the Football League about access to grounds for disabled people. I subsequently wrote to the chairman of all league clubs in England and Wales and I am sending a copy of the letter to my hon. Friend.
