asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish in the Official Report a table similar to that published on 21st June, columns 461–2, showing the EEC common levies on foodstuffs together with related accession compensatory amounts and monetary compensatory amounts for the latest available date together with the net cost to the importer.

The following is the information requested applicable on 11th October 1977.

In practice EEC common levies and accession compensatory amounts are expressed in sterling after conversion at the representative rate. But, as in the previous table, the levies and accession compensatory amounts in this table have been converted to sterling at the current market rate of exchange used for the purposes of the monetary compensatory amounts (£1=1.27830 ua).
