§ Mr. Maclennan:My right hon. Friend received the report on 29th July 1977. In view of its importance, a limited number of copies were printed and circulated for public discussion in advance of normal publication, which subsequently took place on 19th September 1977. Copies of the report have been placed in the Library of the House.
My right hon. Friend announced on 29th July that the Government were inviting comments on the report from interested parties. These have now been received and are being carefully considered.
