§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether, in view of the local discontent caused by the decision of one of his Department's inspectors in a planning matter arising in Llansannan, Clwyd, he will in future, in the exercise of his powers under the planning regulations, reserve jurisdiction to himself in all cases where the preservation of the Welsh language and way of life is a principal issue and reserve the right to make the final decision himself.
§ Mr. John MorrisInspectors are authorised to determine certain planning appeals under the Town and Country Planning (Determination of Appeals by Appointed Persons) (Prescribed Classes) Regulations 1972. I have no plans to change the existing procedures.
