§ Mr. Kenneth Clarkeasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether the evidence collected by the newly revived Civil Service Pay Research Unit, comparing wages 213W and salaries in the Civil Service with comparable rates in private industry, will be published.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisThe new Pay Research Unit Board is to be charged with the duty of submitting an annual report to the Prime Minister, which will be published, and giving guidance to the director on the release of such information about the unit's work and findings as is compatible with the effective operation of the system. It has been agreed that the general aim will be to release as much information as is practicable.
