Mr. Fitt

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what was the net expenditure per 1,000 population on adult training centres in Northern Ireland in the year ended 31st March 1977;

(2) what was the net expenditure per 1,000 population on adult training centres in each area health board in the year ended 31st March 1977.

Mr. Carter

The cost of adult training centres is not kept separately from the cost of schools and workshops for the mentally handicapped. The net expenditure per 1,000 popoulation for all of these in the year ended 31st March 1977 was:
