§ Mr. BishopSpecial levies apply to imports of New Zealand butter under the arrangements set out in Protocol 18 of the Treaty of Accession. All other imports of butter are subject to the common levy, which is over twice as high. The European Commission is inquiring into allegations about the reimportation of EEC butter into Italy, and we await the result of that inquiry.
