asked the Minister for the Civil Service what is the cost per page of printing the Official Report.

Mr. Charles R. Morris

The cost varies considerably from issue to issue depending on: (a) the number of parts printed in a Session; (b) the number of copies issued of each edition; (c) the number of pages in each issue; and (d) the complexity of the contents. Taking a sample period of 12 months from March 1976 to February 1977, the average cost per page was 0.582p.
