§ Mr. OrmeThe report has been received and is published today—Cmnd 6991. The majority recommendation of the committee was that seasonal workers who claim unemployment benefit in their off-seasons should still have to satisfy additional conditions but that there 757W should be some easements in the present conditions.
We accept the recommendations of the committee. Since, however, they will involve some additional cost, their implementation will depend on the priority which they can be given within the resources available for social security expenditure.
