§ Mr. John Ellisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what public funds will be used to meet the cost of the National Dwelling and Housing Survey.
§ Mr. FreesonOn 6th July I told the House that the cost of the survey was estimated to be £2 million-£2½ million.
Parliamentary approval for expenditure on this survey in 1977–78 will be sought in a supplementary estimate for the Housing England Vote. Pending that approval application will be made for repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund.
