§ 30. Mr. Lawrenceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he intends to implement the recommendations of the Criminal Law Revision Committee with regard to the right to silence in criminal proceedings.
§ Mr. JohnI expect that this issue will be considered by the Royal Commission on Criminal Procedure. My right hon. Friend does not contemplate reaching conclusions on it until the Royal Commission has finished its work.
