§ Mr. MeacherApplicants for export licences for antiques over 100 years old, and for documents, manuscripts, archives and photographic positives and negatives over 70 years old, are not required to state the sources from which they made their acquisitions. Accurate information relating to the licensing of articles from Mentmore is not, therefore, available, and information relating to the licensing of items which could be identified as emanating from Mentmore could only be extracted at disproportionate cost.
