Mr. Knox

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the percentage increase or decrease in gross domestic product at constant 1970 prices and at factor cost in each year since 1945;

(2) if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the percentage increase or decrease in personal disposable income per capita in terms of 1970 prices for each year since 1945.

Estimates of the gross demestic product at factor cost and personal disposable income at constant 1970 prices are not available for years before 1948. The figures for the period from 1949 to 1955 are given below. Cor- responding figures for the period 1956 to 1976 are given on pages 126 and 128 of the October 1977 issue of Economic Trends.
