§ Mr. Leeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many instances have been brought to his attention where the identity of a defendant 301W accused of a rape offence has been improperly disclosed contrary to the provisions of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act; and what action he is taking for the future prevention of such improprieties.
§ Mr. JohnIf my hon. Friend has any such examples I will investigate them and consider what preventative action can be taken.
