§ Mr. JohnAs I indicated on 7th November during the debate on the Address—[Vol. 938, c. 442]—the Government's proposals for the reform of Section 2 of the Official Secrets Act 1911 will be published in a White Paper to allow for the widest possible discussion of the complex issues involved. Legislation is unlikely this Session.
