§ Mr. OrmeThe report has been received and is being published today (Cmnd. 6976). In view of the Committee's recommendation that the regulations should not be made, we do not intend to proceed with them immediately. However we shall continue our consideration of the circumstances in which students can qualify for unemployment benefit, with a view to putting forward amended proposals in due course.
