§ Mr. Wrigglesworthasked the Secretary of State for Industry what funds are at present available for investment purposes for the Northern Region office of the National Enterprise Board; and what funds have been invested in Northern industries since the office was established.
§ Mr. Les HuckfieldNo limit has been set by the National Enterprise Board on the amount of its funds available for regional investment. The board has invested about £600,000 in companies in the Northern Region since its office was established there. The region, too, has benefited a great deal from the board's investment in companies based elsewhere but with factories in the region.
