asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what grants the Voluntary Service Unit has given to the Fair Play organisation in the last three years; and what grants are planned for them in 1977–78.

The Voluntary Services Unit has made the following grants to the Fair Play for Children Campaign:

1974–75	£10,500
1975–76	£17,550
1976–77 (including £2,000 for Play Day)	£26,000

The grant for 1977–78 is £26,000.
