Mr. Fitt

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what is his estimate of the number of children in Northern Ireland who are hard of hearing;

(2) what is his estimate of the number of adults in Northern Ireland who are hard of hearing;

(3) what is his estimate of the number of children in Northern Ireland who are deaf;

(4) what is his estimate of the number of adults in Northern Ireland who are deaf.

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish a table in the Official Report showing how many legally held shotguns, rifles and pistols have been used in terrorist-type murders in Northern Ireland in each year since 1969; of these weapons so used on how many occasions in each year the murders were committed by the person legally entitled to hold the firearm; and how many persons are known to have been the victims of terrorist type murders where stolen legally held weapons have been used.
