§ Mr. ShoreI understand that no individual authorities do so; the local authority associations used to contribute towards the costs of the Brussels Liaison Office of the International Union of Local Authorities and Council of European Municipalities, but ceased to do so at the end of 1976. However, I gather that the associations intend to resume a measure of support in 1978–79 to the two organisations concerned.
