§ Mr. John FraserIf an international voluntary standard for a new 16 amp plug and socket system were eventually published, this would not oblige the United Kingdom to change over to the new system. Any substantial proposals for its introduction would not be considered by Government if, as a result, changes to existing serviceable installations would be necessary.
