§ Mr. Litterickasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish figures showing the aggregate value of rent and rate debts currently outstanding in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, respectively.
§ Mr. Armstrong:The latest available figures for rent arrears net of rates owing to local authorities are:
England £27.5M at 31.3.77 Wales 0.8M Scotland £ 3.4M at 30.9.76 Northern Ireland £ 6.5M at 30.9.77 Information on arrears of rates is not collected by my Department.
