HC Deb 11 November 1977 vol 938 c282W
Mrs. Chalker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what would be the costs of bringing all retirement pensions, and all other pensions paid to recipients living abroad, where reciprocal agreements do not exist, up to the levels of pensions to be paid from November in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Orme:

About £45 million for retirement pensions and about £4 million for widow's benefits, guardian's allowances and child's special allowances. All other pensions, when paid abroad, are at the levels payable in the United Kingdom.
