HC Deb 10 November 1977 vol 938 c222W
Mr. Kinnock

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received supporting the provision of free television licences to blind persons ; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John:

None. The Government are considering the report of the Annan Committee, which included recommendations that no new concessions on television licence fees should be introduced but that the existing reduction for the blind should remain.
