§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether it is a strategic objective of Her Majesty's Government's defence policy to strengthen those who are clearly identifiable as enemies of those whom Her Majesty's Government themselves consider to be potentially hostile.
§ Mr. Mulley:Her Majesty's Government's policy has been described in successive Statements on the Defence Estimates. Requests from other Governments for any kind of military assistance, including sales of defence equipment, are considered on their merits.
